Hello and welcome. I'm Jamie, i'm 22 years old and I live in Dingwall which is about 15 miles to the north of Inverness.

I have had an interest in public transport for as long as I can remember. I am primarily a railway enthusiast but I do also have an interest in buses and other types of transport.

My photographs

I do not aim to be the best photographer in the world, I simply persue my hobby. Most of my railway shots will be from station platforms as I do not have a car to get to countryside locations. I do put a reasonable amount of effort into my pictures however it is not always possible to get the desired picture everytime. I do try and replace my poorer pictures with better ones but it's not always possible to see the same train or bus again for some time, so something I only have one poor picture of may not get replaced for some time. The way I see it is transport photography is not a competition as to who can get the better pictures. Any picture is better than none at all!
